Hello friends... I am writing this blog to share my views about "Microsoft " and how it has impacted my life..!!!
Microsoft has changed the world, made a dent in the universe.
Brought a PC on every desk and in every home. It, certainly, revolutionized the
personal computer market.
Today most people hardly think twice about interacting with
the touch screen of an ATM, using the GPS in their car or watching content from
a connected TV. But there was a time not long ago when we could hardly imagine
how we would interact with these and other devices on a daily basis.
The Microsoft – as soon as this word strikes my ears… I start
to visualize the great works of the millionaires- Mr. Bill Gates and Mr.Paul Allen. The desktop
wallpaper “bliss” of Windows XP comes to my mind and then the word processors .
ms paint, ms dos , pinball… all begin like a slideshow.
Microsoft
became a relevant part of the computer industry because of its countless
contributions. It was back in 1975 when Bill Gates and Paul Allen set a vision
that was “A computer on every desktop in every home”.
MICROSOFT -one of the largest, most respected
computer science research organizations in the world.
CAN U THINK?????
Starting
from a basic project up to high level project, everywhere I use Microsoft. Microsoft
Manufactures desktops which are quite affordable, I use them for making
college presentations, assignments, and writing notes.
Windows
makes it easier to run programs (applications) than DOS did. It also helps
people keep their files safe and in order.
Some
programs are included with Windows. Some examples:
- Wordpad - to write simple documents
- Photo viewer - to look at pictures
- Paint - to make simple drawing
- Internet Explorer - to use the internet to look at web pages and download files.
- Windows Media Player - to listen to music and watch videos.
By
shifting the value in computing to software, Microsoft commoditized computing
hardware and made computing accessible to the masses. If this isn't one of the most significant
events in history, nothing is.
Microsoft,
being a software company, built an operating system platform that let
thousands of others innovate which, along with Moore's Law, made PCs cheaper
and more valuable every year which meant more and more people could get access
to them, in a vicious circle.
Being
the first big, viable software company also meant Microsoft cleared the way
for thousands of other software innovators, when it was in no way obvious
at the start that a company could be viable making just software.
The
hardware may have been ugly, and the software clunky but it was the software that millions of people
used, and loved.
My Plan as Microsoft Student Associate:
Yes........ our society is
well educated and highly talented even though they are still unaware about the
Microsoft's useful and free services.
My first step is giving an awareness of
these products to all and ensure the active participation of them in to these
services.
Being Microsoft Student Associate, I could
conduct many activities in my campus like Idea Sharing, Creative Contents with
Microsoft and more to make other students to be aware about Microsoft products
and also make them to learn many things about Microsoft.
My ultimate aim as Microsoft Student
Associate is to bring Microsoft Enthusiasts forward and motive them to do more
with Microsoft.
I would also conduct many classes in my
campus to make students to use Microsoft Products more effectively. More over i
will discuss with my staffs to bring more Microsoft Student Associates and
Microsoft Student Partners from my Campus.
Those who are interested on coding with more
creativity, I would suggest them to become Microsoft Student partner and also
work to develop their skills.
